RJ Cole | NJ Playaz

Peach Jam Stats: 19.6 PPG (48.5% 3PT), 2.8 RPG, 3.8 APG, 1.8 SPG

On a team chock full of talented backcourt players, Cole managed to stand out in North Augusta because of his toughness and ability to rise in the moments at the end of games when it mattered. Despite failing to make it out of pool play, Playaz was competitive in every game they played in, and the sharpshooting combo guard was a big reason why. Possessing a pure stroke with the physical gifts to create for himself and others, Cole was on fire from the first game at Peach Jam and his confidence helped Playaz overcome some large deficits and compete against deeper, longer squads.

Jordan Goodwin | St. Louis Eagles

Peach Jam Stats: 21.8 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 2.8 APG, 2.6 SPG

Goodwin was the engine that made the Eagles go all season long, and that remained true in North Augusta, as the combo guard-forward put on his usual display of stellar all-around play on both ends of the floor. Goodwin is likely the only player on the circuit who could legitimately guard the one through four, and his unique skillset gives him the opportunity to be as versatile as they come. Also a talented football player, Goodwin brings an aggressiveness that is rarely seen from a high school player, and he nearly willed the Eagles into the final eight in North Augusta, as he willed them to victories all summer long.

Jermaine Samuels | Expressions Elite

Peach Jam Stats: 14.2 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 1.8 APG

The big four stars for Expressions Elite led them all season long, and their run to the Peach Jam quarterfinals, as Samuels teamed up with big man Richards to form a devastating duo in pool play. Athletic as they come with a raw feel for the game, the swingman is built like a defensive back but his game is smooth, and his ability to do whatever was asked of him helped his team through some tough matchups throughout the week. An expert slasher who also has a great midrange game, Samuels has a bright future ahead of him, especially once he tightens up his handle and adds more range to his shot. One can only speculate as to how far Expressions could have gone had Samuels not gone down with an ankle injury in the quarterfinals against PSA.

Devontae Shuler | Team CP3

Peach Jam Stats: 14.3 PPG, (55.2 FG%), 3.0 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.8 SPG

While teammate and versatile big man Wendell Carter garnered much of the attention from opposing defenses, it was Shuler who starred for Team CP3 as they advanced out of pool play into the final eight. The Oak Hill product was aggressive with taking the ball to the rack from the opening tipn in North Augusta, and his success in finishing helped build his confidence, which affected all other areas of his offensive game. The all-around guard rebounds well for his size and also played the perfect complement in the backcourt to Lavar Batts and Michael Hueitt, while shouldering much of the scoring load when Carter was in foul trouble or being double-teamed. Shuler is a rapid riser in the class of 2017 and he greatly improved his stock at Peach Jam.

Marcus Santos-Silva | BABC

Peach Jam Stats: 15.8 PPG, 11.8 RPG, 2.6 APG

As the leader on a team that is always a threat to make a deep run at Peach Jam, Santos-Silva did not disappoint, as he was the reliable, walking double-double we have come to know. Despite lacking the usual consistent perimeter shooting around him, the bruising forward made the most of his opportunities, scoring near the rim and in the midrange while using his nose for the ball to chase down loose balls and rebounds alike. The lefty was also a force on the defensive end, where his quickness and strength allowed him to defend a variety of opponents, and shut them all down.
