Team CP3 33 10 20 4 2

Atlanta Statistics: 23.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG, 3.0 APG

Lykes has been an offensive spectacle throughout the season, and with Takeover taking four of five in Atlanta, there was no way the diminutive point guard was going to be overlooked for a spot on this team. Whether it is getting into the lane at will, creating space for himself on the perimeter, or leading the break for an easy score, Lykes has shown his ability to dominate a game from nearly every level. All signs point to this young man just beginning to emerge onto the national spotlight.

Collin Sexton | Southern Stampede (GA)

Opponent PTS FGM FGA REB STL
MeanStreets 33 11 18 5 1
Team Takeover 25 7 18 7 0
Georgia Stars 44 12 22 10 3

AVERAGES: 34.2 47 91 5.4 1.3

Atlanta Statistics (5 games): 34.2 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1.3 APG

With another unbelievably productive session, Sexton closes out the regular season as possibly the country’s most dangerous scorer and one of the best the EYBL has seen. On his way to breaking the league’s single-season scoring record, the Stampede star was on fire from nearly every spot on the floor early and often, showing his now-trademark confidence and still managing to stay under control at all times. Purely from a numbers standpoint, Sexton has to be in the conversation among the nation’s best.

Michael Porter, Jr. | MOKAN Elite (KS)

Opponent PTS FGM FGA
CIA Bounce 3 1 10
Team Griffin 21 8 13
Nike South Beach 10 3 12
Houston Hoops 32 12 18
Seattle Rotary 12 4 11
AVERAGES: 15.6 5.6 12.8

Atlanta Statistics (5 games): 26.0 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 1.4 SPG

Though his MOKAN squad had its worst weekend of the regular season, the silky smooth wing showed out as his normal efficient self, showing even more of a knack for scoring with a more aggressive approach. Although he was making it rain from deep when he wanted to, the ability to take the ball towards the hoop, using a flurry of moves to get there, will be a strength that will take Porter’s game to the next level. With a return trip to Peach Jam on the horizon, there are plenty of highlights to come from this versatile forward.

Mitchell Robinson | Nike Pro Skills (TX)

Opponent PTS FGM FGA REB AST
Mac Irvin Fire 14 6 11 1 6
All Ohio Red 19 8 14 5 8
Southern Stampede 27 9 18 2 1
Team CP3 21 6 11 6 2
King James 10 3 8 1 3
AVERAGES: 18.2 6.4 12.4 3 4

Atlanta Statistics (5 games): 20.2 PPG, 13.6 RPG, 4.0 BPG

The most dominant defensive player in the league all season long, Robinson had his best offensive session of the year at a good time for Pro Skills. The seven-foot beast was unstoppable around the rim, scoring with ease in both the half court set and in transition. On the other end, Robinson continued to be a game changer by altering shots and making opposing guards hesitate every time thought about going into the lane.

Wendell Carter | Team CP3 (NC)

Opponent PTS FGM FGA REB AST BLK
King James 4 2 6 5 1 0
Albany City Rocks 8 2 4 5 8 4
Team Takeover 23 8 10 12 0 4
Georgia Stars 14 6 9 10 4 3
California Supreme 30 13 17 16 0 3
AVERAGES: 15.8 6.2 9.2 9.6 2.6 2.8

Atlanta Statistics (5 games): 15.8 PPG, 9.6 REB, 2.6 APG, 2.8 BPG

Team CP3 has repeated as one of the best grassroots teams nationally once again, and that would not have been possible without Carter’s leadership on and off the court. The uber-talented big man prospect has added several layers to his game since being named MVP of Peach Jam in 2015, and he showed off every one of them in Atlanta, from his court vision to his improved mid-range game. As the rest of his CP3 squad has come together to form a lethal opponent for anyone in the league, Carter has been the glue that brings everyone together.
